ABOUT US

Located in the Pacific Northwest, Rainsway Clumbers was established in 2008 when mother daughter duo, Darcy and Raina Moss brought home their first Clumber Spaniel, Betty. Betty stole the hearts of everyone from day one-- the rest is history! It is our goal to make a positive impact on our breed, breeding to preserve and improve, and to always be kind to others to promote our magnificent breed.
We have had a Clumber in the Top 5 standings since 2013, multiple Sporting Group winners, All-Breed Best in Show wins, and multiple Specialty & National Specialty winners. To date we have over 40 AKC Champions, 18 AKC Grand Champions with many OFA CHIC's and multiple OFA Excellent Hip ratings.
Raina began her journey in the Washington State Dog 4-H program before excelling in AKC Junior Showmanship. She became the first Clumber Junior team to; be ranked #1 Sporting Junior in the country, place at Westminster Kennel Club, bring home the title of Best Junior Handler at the AKC National Championship, represent the USA at CRUFTS and be shortlisted in the Top 10 handlers in the world. These were all huge feats for the Clumber Spaniel Breed in Junior events.
Today, Raina is passionate about giving back to the sport and breed that have given her so much. She serves as the Juniors Coordinator, Public Education Chair, and a member of the Publications Committee for the Clumber Spaniel Club of America. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Clumber Spaniel Health Foundation and has presented at events such as the National Animal Interest Alliance Conference, advocating for responsible dog ownership, preservation breeding, and purebred dogs.
While promoting responsible dog ownership, our goal is to preserve the integrity of this magnificent breed, with an emphasis on temperament, structure, health and longevity. We strive to create a welcoming community for all interested in our breed.
We enjoy participating in the showing/breeding community and are members of the Clumber Spaniel Club of America, founding members of the Pacific Northwest Clumber Spaniel Fanciers, members of the Greater Clark County Kennel Club All-Breed Club, as well as an American Kennel Club Breeder of Merit.
